Seeing as its Anzac Day this Friday and everyone ends up with a long weekend, why not be prepared for the next long weekend coming up and order a bin nice and early for the big clean up? It’s an ideal time to landscape that garden out back, remodel the old kitchen, carpet the family room or even help the neighbours with their work.
What do all of these home improvements have in common? You will be needing to schedule a bin hire…….and quite frankly, most of Australia will be doing the same. So here are a few things to keep in mind to make sure you don’t miss out like you may have this weekend:
- Order well in advance. First in is first served, and as long weekends are very busy times for bin hire suppliers, many will run out of stock. A good idea would be to get onto booking your bin hire a week or two in advance just to make sure you get your bin on the dates you require.
- Have your bin hire delivered a day in advance! To make sure your bin hire is nice and early, ready for you to use first thing in the morning (because you will be up and working first thing in the morning!), select your delivery date a day or two early. This way your bin hire isn’t one of many thousand being delivered by the supplier on the first day of the long weekend.
- Be sure to book a bin that is going to be big enough for your job. If you happen to finish early with a day or so to spare, you’ll probably end up finding other junk to throw away, so be sure not to get caught out with all that extra waste left behind.
With these little hints and tips you should be fine over the next long weekend and won’t miss the boat on your next bin hire.
Have a great ANZAC day and enjoy your weekend!

Hi everybody! We have updated our site to make the whole process of ordering a skip bin easier. We have given each of the waste types an individual box. In each of their boxes we have given a brief explanation of what is included in each waste type. The box is shown in “Step 2” of the booking process after you have entered your post code.
An example of it is shown below:

We hope that implementing this update in our site makes booking a bin and selecting the correct Waste Type a whole lot simpler for you the customer. If you are after a more in depth explanation of what waste is allowed in the Skip Bin you can always visit our FAQ’s page on the site.

Customers often contact us to find out what time their bin will be delivered, so they can plan out the rest of their day. The best way to find this out is to contact your supplier directly.
Supplier contact details are recorded on your Tax Invoice, which will be included in the email confirmation once you have booked your bin at www.bookabin.com.au.
When you place your online booking you will be able to indicate your specific delivery instructions to your supplier in the “Delivery Comments” box. This could be details such as:
• Where to place the bin
• Hazards to avoid
• If there will be anyone home on delivery
• The best time of day for delivery
If you have any special instructions, we also suggest you to talk directly to your supplier about these issues as they are the ones delivering your bin and want to provide you with the best service possible.

BookaBin.com.au - the premier way to get a free quote for a skip bin in your area, book and pay, all online. But what about if you are a supplier? How can BookaBin help me?
Well if you’re a supplier and want to make the whole process of taking orders over the phone, giving quotes over the phone and even taking/chasing payments a whole lot easier, then BookaBin is perfect for you!
All you need to do is go to our suppliers page of the site and fill out a site enquiry. One of the friendly members from the BookaBin team will contact you to discuss the details of how easy it is to come on board.
Once you become a supplier with BookaBin you can start receiving an order every time a customer visits our site and books their bin hire from your service area. The customer is provided with a free quote and doesn’t have to call around a number of suppliers from the phone book. They book and pay online and then you (the supplier) are sent the order without having to do a thing! Not half bad don’t you think!
This cuts down on most if not all of your office administration hours. Some of our suppliers don’t even answer the phone anymore as they now just take orders from us.
What an excellent way to receive additional orders and ultimately additional income! Who would have thought that it could be made this easy…well, I guess we did.
