We Listen To Our Customers!

May 29th, 2008 by The BookaBin Australia Bin Hire Team

The easier www.bookabin.com.au is to use the better! Because we value our customers, we love to action their feedback and make user friendly changes.

In April we set our Waste Type table in a different format with the hope of presenting the information more clearly, unfortunately this did not work as we had hoped. The feedback we have gathered since has shown the page to be cluttered and more confusing for our customers to use, therefore we have changed it back to its previous format, clean and clear.

Now if you are confused as to which waste type you have or the type of bin to choose, this information can be found in the FAQ area of www.bookabin.com.au.
We really appreciate feedback so if there is anything you would like to bring to our attention contact us at www.bookabin.com.au using the Live Chat or by email admin@bookabin.com.au.

Our ears are open!

YellowPages & Information Overload!

May 22nd, 2008 by The BookaBin Australia Bin Hire Team

Interesting Fact. In Australia the biggest section behind Car Rentals is Skip Bin Hire! Sure you didn’t know that. We were surprised as well. What does this mean for you?

There are a huge amount of Suppliers. Obviously you are initially drawn to those that have bigger ads, but how do you know their prices? do they provide a quality service? There are many variables to consider. In fact there is too much information there to process it all effectively.

This is where BookaBin comes in. We act as a filter. Whilst there may be many suppliers only a few are going to provide quality service and a best price. In fact prices can vary week to week for some suppliers. We take all these suppliers, filter our the low quality ones and uncompetitively priced skip hire suppliers. So avoid information overload, simply utilise BookaBin as your filter and you can be assured of a better service.

How Much Will My Skip Bin Be? Are There Any Hidden Costs?

May 8th, 2008 by The BookaBin Australia Bin Hire Team

So you’ve decided to book a bin online. You’ve visited bookabin, entered your post code, followed the quick steps and now have a quote that is the lowest in town……

And then you think…“Is this really all that it’s going to cost me?”

The fact of the matter is YES! This is exactly how much the skip bin will cost to be delivered and taken away. The only way you will end up having to pay anything extra is if you:

1. Have filled your General Waste or Green Waste bin with material that exceeds the weight limit of 150kg per cubic meter of the bin.
2. Place anything in the skip bin that the supplier doesn’t usually allow, for example some suppliers have extra charges for mattresses and/or tyres.
3. Are having you’re skip bin placed on council land and you need a permit for it which may cost extra depending on your local council.

The main thing to keep in mind when hiring a skip bin is to stick to the rules and you should be fine!

Have fun booking that bin!!

Why Do I Need A Permit?

May 1st, 2008 by The BookaBin Australia Bin Hire Team

If your bin is going to be placed on private land you probably will not need a permit, but if the bin placed outside your gate or somewhere that is considered public land you probably will.

The best thing to do is contact your local council and let them know where you intend to place the bin.  They will tell you what you need to know about arranging a permit for the placement if it is deemed necessary.

Some suppliers are able to arrange these for you when you book your bin on bookabin.com.au, but the price does not include council permit fees.  If a permit is applicable, the fees will be charged to you directly by the supplier.
