Plans For The Weekend?

November 19th, 2009 by The BookaBin Australia Bin Hire Team

I know I do.  For the past year or so, our garage has been so full of junk, that we can’t even park our cars in it!  Knowing that it’s not going to go away by itself, and my partner continues to add more stuff to the pile each and everyday, I’ve decided to hire a skip bin and get rid of most of the stuff.  There truly isn’t much value in the items, which is why I think they’ve been left sitting around.  So that’s my plans for the weekend…what are yours?

Ho Ho Ho!

Christmas is well on the way, which means school holidays for the kids, new years and a lot of beautiful sunny days to be enjoyed.  And how to enjoy those days you ask?

Firstly you need to relax.  That’s why it is such a brilliant idea to get the house sorted out before the havoc of Christmas and summer really hit!  Most people have family to come and stay over the Christmas holidays.  You may need extra space or just want a clean, tidy and clutter free house (need extra room for all those decorations), so log onto www.bookabin.com.au and order a skip bin.  Bookings and payments are made online, and then the skip bin is delivered to your location.  Tidying up and getting ready for hoards of family to come and stay is never fun, so we have made booking a skip bin as easy as 1-2-3!

Can I Put ……. In A ……. Bin?

We frequently get questions asking what types of rubbish can go in the different types of skip bins. So here’s the lowdown:

General Waste is typically anything involved with a “general cleanup around the house and section” that is neither liquid nor of a hazardous nature.

Use a Cleanfill / Hardfill skip bin, if you have any of the following:
Concrete, soil, sand, clay, rocks, rubble, bricks, sand, asphalt, ceramic tiles.

Use a Green Waste skip bin, if you have any of the following:
Grass, leaves, tree trimmings, small branches and other organic materials.

Only use a Soil / Dirt skip bin, if you have 100% pure soil / dirt (no turf or contaminants). No other waste can be mixed in this bin, additional charges will apply if other waste is placed in this bin.
