Interesting Fact. In Australia the biggest section behind Car Rentals is Skip Bin Hire! Sure you didn’t know that. We were surprised as well. What does this mean for you?
There are a huge amount of Suppliers. Obviously you are initially drawn to those that have bigger ads, but how do you know their prices? do they provide a quality service? There are many variables to consider. In fact there is too much information there to process it all effectively.
This is where BookaBin comes in. We act as a filter. Whilst there may be many suppliers only a few are going to provide quality service and a best price. In fact prices can vary week to week for some suppliers. We take all these suppliers, filter our the low quality ones and uncompetitively priced skip hire suppliers. So avoid information overload, simply utilise BookaBin as your filter and you can be assured of a better service.

If your bin is going to be placed on private land you probably will not need a permit, but if the bin placed outside your gate or somewhere that is considered public land you probably will.
The best thing to do is contact your local council and let them know where you intend to place the bin. They will tell you what you need to know about arranging a permit for the placement if it is deemed necessary.
Some suppliers are able to arrange these for you when you book your bin on bookabin.com.au, but the price does not include council permit fees. If a permit is applicable, the fees will be charged to you directly by the supplier.

Seeing as its Anzac Day this Friday and everyone ends up with a long weekend, why not be prepared for the next long weekend coming up and order a bin nice and early for the big clean up? It’s an ideal time to landscape that garden out back, remodel the old kitchen, carpet the family room or even help the neighbours with their work.
What do all of these home improvements have in common? You will be needing to schedule a bin hire…….and quite frankly, most of Australia will be doing the same. So here are a few things to keep in mind to make sure you don’t miss out like you may have this weekend:
- Order well in advance. First in is first served, and as long weekends are very busy times for bin hire suppliers, many will run out of stock. A good idea would be to get onto booking your bin hire a week or two in advance just to make sure you get your bin on the dates you require.
- Have your bin hire delivered a day in advance! To make sure your bin hire is nice and early, ready for you to use first thing in the morning (because you will be up and working first thing in the morning!), select your delivery date a day or two early. This way your bin hire isn’t one of many thousand being delivered by the supplier on the first day of the long weekend.
- Be sure to book a bin that is going to be big enough for your job. If you happen to finish early with a day or so to spare, you’ll probably end up finding other junk to throw away, so be sure not to get caught out with all that extra waste left behind.
With these little hints and tips you should be fine over the next long weekend and won’t miss the boat on your next bin hire.
Have a great ANZAC day and enjoy your weekend!
