Have you hired help?

August 24th, 2010 by The BookaBin Australia Bin Hire Team

Some crucial advise about hiring a skip bin from bookabin when you have hired help, such as contractors, movers or general helpers to load the bin for customers in Postcode 4034 in Queensland, Zillmere, Boondall, Geebung, Carseldine and Aspley or anywhere in Australia. If this is you, then we strongly advise booking the bin for delivery the day before the help is due to arrive. Due to the nature of the business, there can be delays with delivery and we do not want you waiting around with people on the clock for the bin. This way it eliminates any hassle of paying for the helpers services when a bin has not arrived on time. Please note, all of our suppliers will do what ever they can to get the bin delivered on time, unfortunately flat tyres, break downs etc do happen!

Only in America

August 16th, 2010 by The BookaBin Australia Bin Hire Team

The team at bookabin likes to research blog ideas…In doing this research we came upon a unique story from Wichita, Kansas.A couple in the midst of putting their own spin on ‘dumpster diving’ were robbed at knife point whilst inside the dumpster!Luckily all the stolen property was recovered. What do you think? Do Aussies hang around skip bins in hope someone jumps in so they can subsequently rob them? Surely not….This stuff only happens in America. If you are looking for a bin for to actually dispose waste in..have a look at bookabin, customers in postcode 4069, Fig Tree Pocket, Pinjarra Hills, Kenmore, Pullenvale, Brookfield, Kenmore East, Kenmore Dc, Upper Brookfield, Kenmore Hills and Chapel Hill Australia have the right idea with a lot of bookings coming through!

The adventures of the skip bin

August 10th, 2010 by The BookaBin Australia Bin Hire Team

Who would have thought a skip bin would have so many, well, uses? The team at bookabin recently read a blog which showed different ways one skip bin was used in the UK, this skip bin had quite an adventure..Firstly, it was turned into a pool, the clever inventor even stuck on a ladder for easy access for the keen swimmers. Then, the skip bin was turned into a ping pong table…slightly pointless, we agree but intriguing all the same.Next this multi purpose bin became a garden, with soil laid down and pretty flowers planted (we know what you are thinking, and we didn’t say the uses were actually useful). The bin then became a skate ramp for skateboard enthusiasts, a bit of wood was added and presto…an almost half pipe. Finally, the last leg of the adventure saw the skip becoming a garden, turf was laid, tables and chairs were placed, a tree was growing out of a pot plant…could hardly tell it was in a skip, ok hardly may just be us been a little optimistic…it’s a nice thing all the same. Please note: Bookabin bin’s are available for rubbish removal purposes only!

Who Is Delivering My Skip Bin?

July 1st, 2010 by The BookaBin Australia Bin Hire Team

One of the most frequently asked questions by a bookabin customer is, “Who is delivering my bin?”

Once a customer enters their postcode on the home page and follows the prompts to outline their skip bin requirements, the bookabin website will source together all the suppliers who service that post code and review which of these suppliers has the skip bin in stock, matching the customer’s requirements.

Usually there is more than one, so the website will look to see who has the cheapest price available for the customers requested date range and present this price.

If the customer likes the price, they can hold it by placing an order using their credit card.
Once the order is processed the website will send an email invoice to the customer outlining who their supplier is and their contact details. The supplier also receives a copy of this email with the customers details on it. As each match is made in real time, the suppliers name is not available until the match is complete.

Give it a try, a very efficient way to book your next skip bin!

Live Chat FAQ’s

June 17th, 2010 by The BookaBin Australia Bin Hire Team

One of the more frequently asked questions we receive is, “What time will my bin be delivered?”  Under normal circumstances, most skip bins are delivered by 11am.  In the event you would like to request a particular time, simply enter this in the Delivery Comments box on the booking page when you are booking your skip.  Once you receive the email confirmation of your order, you can then ring your supplier directly to confirm the time with them.

Coming soon - NEW WASTE TYPE SKIP BIN FOR HIRE

October 29th, 2009 by The BookaBin Australia Bin Hire Team

Recently we have had customers looking to get rid of pure Soil / Dirt waste. Bookabin has listened to your feedback and will be adding the following new waste type in some serviced areas:

Soil / Dirt skip bin: 100% pure soil / dirt (no turf or contaminants)

Due to disposal options, and to keep the price low for this type of waste bin, no other waste can be mixed in this skip. If by chance there is other waste in the bin it will cost the suppliers more to dispose of the waste and additional charges will apply to the customer.

If you are interested in finding out how much it will cost to hire a Soil / Dirt skip bin, please enter your postcode at www.bookabin.com.au. The website will present you with the waste types available in your area.
